LMM8 Hormone Reflexology

You have 84 hormones or hormone families. A hormone family is like insulin and amylin. They are part of the same function, and co-secreted by the Beta cells in your pancreas, so you use the same massage point for them both.


The hormone massage points are on the webbings between your fingers. You can release, boost or balance any hormone by massaging its reflex point correctly. Please refer to Laughing Monkey Massage to discover the massage strokes that work the best.


The points for your hormones are in the charts below. You may learn from them here or simply download them and print them out, in which case you may like to place them just above your toilet roll so that you can spend time learning them three times a day.



Press your points. Which ones are sore? For example, if your Motilin point is sore, massage it gently which Singing Down, ONCE ONLY, "Motilin increases rapidly now". Simply continuing to touch the point while you massage it, and breathing with your tongue forwards, will boost your Motilin. Motilin is the hormone which boosts your peristalsis. In other words, it makes your bowels move, relieving constipation and improving your poos.


When you have finished doing your poo look back in the toilet bowl at what you have produced. If you have separate, hard lumps, like nuts, which are hard to pass, you desperat ely need a colonic irrigation.


If they are sausage shaped but lumpy you need more exercise, water and veggies.


If they are like sausages with cracks on the surface you need more fibre and fluid.


If they are smooth and soft like a sausage or snake they are great poos!


If they are soft blobs with clear-cut edges you are tending towards diarrhea.


If they are fluffy pieces with ragged edges and mushy poo, something is wrong.


If they are watery, with no solid pieces, entirely liquid, this is major diarrhea. Remember that ripe bananas (when the banana has little, brown freckles on it) help to regulate the bowels away from diarrhea as well as constipation, so have more bananas - with skin - as well as deep green, leafy veggies (four cups a day is best) and probiotics (yogurt or kefir, made on coconut cream).

Please be aware that these charts have many putative positions which have not been confirmed. This includes GRH, GnRH, ADH, TRH, Endorphins, Relaxin, Uro/Guanylin, GH, FSH & LH, ACTH, MSH, PRL, Angiotensin, Renin, Angiotensinogen, Thrombopoietin, Hepcidin, the Somatomedins, Resistin, Prostacyclin, Activin and any position with question marks. I have published it at this stage because of the usefulness of many of the points.


Also be aware that some symptoms may come from one hormone, and similar symptoms may come from another. For example, Beta cells make both insulin and amylin, and both may be deficient or in excess together or separately, although the massage point is the same.

As well, tummy upset may be caused by deficiency or excess of a number of hormones. So the best way to work with it is to test each point using palpation (feeling for pain, swelling, numbness, heat or puffiness) or Breath Testing.


Handy Hormones

YANG - back of the hand

  • Serotonin gives you bliss. Could be good for alcohol addiction.

  • GABA gives you satisfaction. Could be good for alcohol addiction.

  • Acetylcholine gives you contentment. Could be good for nicotine addiction.

Similarly, on the right hand,

  • Dopamine gives you pleasure. Could be good for alcohol addiction.

  • Adrenalin and noradrenaline give you jauntiness, and wakes you up in the morning. Could be good for caffeine addiction (cola, coffee, tea, cocoa, cacao, chocolate).

  • Histamine gives you swelling. Could be good for injury and is part of the inflammatory (repair) process.

When it's unexplained you have metabolic imbalances, such as swollen feet with diabetes. Then you need to release it using anti-histamine points as you might do for a mosquito bite - try your right, second toe nail.
