Trigeminal Nerve (V)

  • The trigeminal nerve is a large cranial nerve that sends signals between the brain and the face: 

  • Function

  • The trigeminal nerve provides sensation to the face, including the forehead, scalp, cheeks, upper and lower jaw, teeth, gums, and lips. It also allows you to chew food. Pain may start near the top of the ear and move to the cheek, jaw, teeth, gums, lips, eye, or forehead. This may come from a blood vessel pressing on the nerve, so you may need to normalise the blood vessel in diameter for the pain to go.

  • Anatomy

  • There are two trigeminal nerves, one on each side of the face. The nerve has three branches: the ophthalmic (upper), maxillary (middle), and mandibular (lower) branches.

  • Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition that causes severe facial pain. It's more common in women and people over 50, and it's usually manageable with treatment. The treatment from the medical profession depends on what they know - radical treatments such as radiation and surgery. 

 

Far cheaper and possibly much more effective is listening to music in the key of E Minor and massaging the large dimple in your left buttock cheek and, if needed, placing the matte side of a card that is white on both sides in that dimple and taping it there with paper tape from your local pharmacy. It is better to begin with this conservative treatment than invasive procedures with their side effects and after effects. Changing your lifestyle and realigning your neck may also help enormously, to recover from

  • Loss of facial sensation

  • Loss of corneal reflex (blinking in response to corneal stimulation)

  • Weakness in muscles of mastication (chewing difficulty)

  • Trigeminal neuralgia (severe facial pain)

Book of Laughs, Part 2: Blood Vessels

Your skin is called "epithelium". The skin of your blood vessels is called "endothelium".  Your endothelium, a monolayer of endothelial cells, constitutes the inner cellular lining of the blood vessels (arteries, veins and capillaries) and the lymphatic system, and therefore is in direct contact with the blood/lymph and the circulating cells.

Your endothelium is a large organ that plays a key role in keeping your blood moving smoothly through your body. It's made up of over a trillion endothelial cells, which release substances that aid in blood flow. Laughing on the sound "ah" can reduce its inflammation.

 

Where this occurs depends on the consonant. For example, if you wish to reduce blood vessel inflammation in your Right Arm you will need the consonant "zh" at the front of it, so the sound to Laugh Down on is "zhah". So try "fah" for inflammation of your cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels).

Several randomized controlled trials have demonstrated that consumption of certain flavonoid-rich beverages (purple grape juice) improves endothelial function in patients with CHD, elevated blood cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes. The colour purple, which IS the flavonoid anthocyanin, works well.

Endothelial dysfunction can lead to acute coronary syndrome. This combination of three different types of coronary artery disease increases the risk of plaque rupturing inside a blood vessel. A ruptured plaque can block blood flow to your heart muscle, causing a heart attack.

Therefore, diet consisting of high fat, especially trans-fat and saturated fat can cause endothelial dysfunction and significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. That's animal products, fast foods and fried foods.

The main symptom of endothelial dysfunction is chest pain (or angina) that gets worse during physical activity or times of emotional stress. Women may notice that their chest pain is worse during their menstrual period. People with endothelial dysfunction may also experience shortness of breath.

Supplementation with vitamins C and E improves arterial stiffness and endothelial function in essential hypertensive patients - those with constant, high blood pressure.

Nutrients, such as antioxidants, L-arginine, folic acid and soy protein have shown an improvement in endothelial function that can mediate, at least partially, the cardioprotective effects of these substances.

Endothelial regeneration starts from the leading edge of the denuded area and from the ostia of collateral arteries. This process begins within the first 24 hours after arterial denudation and ceases 6 or 10 weeks later, depending upon animal species. 

And in response to regular exercise, they actually grow more blood vessels by expanding the network of capillaries. In turn, muscle cells boost levels of the enzymes that allow them to use oxygen to generate energy.

Endothelial dysfunction may be reversible under certain circumstances. In this example, impaired endothelium-dependent dilation (EDD) in young adults with hypercholesterolemia was improved significantly by 4 weeks of treatment with l-arginine, the precursor of NO.

Olive oil bioactive compounds exhibited a potent capability to attenuate oxidative stress and improve endothelial function through their anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-thrombotic properties, therefore reducing the risk and progression of atherosclerosis.

Endothelial cells possess the ability to self-proliferate and repair. Vascular endothelial injury not only affects the function of the vascular barrier and the regulatory function and secretory function of the vasodilator response, but also weakens the repair ability.

Endothelial inflammation. Endothelial dysfunction is triggered by different cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia. These events increased production of interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), and C reactive protein (CRP).

Vitamin C improves endothelium-dependent vasodilation by restoring nitric oxide activity in essential hypertension. Circulation.

Fortunately, endothelial dysfunction is often reversible. Lifestyle changes, including weight loss, diet, and cardiovascular exercise, are often enough to undo the damage.

In this context, certain components of the Mediterranean diet, such as virgin olive oil, which is rich in monounsaturated fat and phenols, have been demonstrated to improve microvascular endothelial dysfunction.

Endothelial cell dysfunction appears to be a reversible process. However, to date, treatment of ECD has been focused largely on ameliorating known risk factors for ACVD rather than specifically targeting endothelial-based mechanisms.

Endothelial dysfunction can be caused by several conditions, including diabetes or metabolic syndrome, hypertension, smoking, and physical inactivity. The healthy endothelium not only arbitrates endothelium-dependent vasodilation, but also actively suppresses thrombosis, vascular inflammation, and hypertrophy.

The ability of the endothelial cell to release relaxing factors can be upregulated by impregnation with estrogens, exercise and antioxidants, and down-regulated by oxidative stress and increased presence of oxidized LDL. Following injury or apoptotic death, the endothelium regenerates

Aerobic exercise, often called cardio, is excellent for arterial health. When your heart pumps faster during aerobic exercise, it pushes more blood through the arteries. This keeps the arteries wider and more flexible, reducing blood pressure and making arteries less likely to collect plaque.

Nutrients, such as fish oil, antioxidants, L-arginine, folic acid and soy protein have shown an improvement in endothelial function that can mediate, at least partially, the cardioprotective effects of these substances.

Dr Elvis Pavarotti

Dr Pavarotti is a retired naturopath who devotes his time to research in Reflexology, natural health and natural healing. 

At the age of 10 he began hearing music through his right ear. At the age of 17 he learned meditation using sound.

At the age of 18-20 he studied at the Australian National University, which has since been recognised as one of the top 10 universities in the world. At the same time as studying science he worked for the National Heart Foundation, observing at first hand the pseudoscience and extreme corruption in the medical fraternity.

At the age of 22 he was the third person in Australia to learn Foot Reflexology. At the age of 24 he learned Toning, a form of Sound Healing with the voice, brought to Australia by Patricia Sun, its originator,  from the USA. At the same age he learned an advanced technique of Sound Meditation from a Master named Vyasa.

At the age of 27 Dr Elvis Pavarotti taught his first, ten lesson course in Sound Healing, at The Meeting Place in Nambour, on the Sunshine Coast of Australia. There he was given the healing poem called "The Law" by Eileen Wheeler Wilcox from the Unity Church in the USA, and told that he should put music to it. He played the song to those in need, who experienced a release of deep wounding and profound healing. 

 

 

 

 

He sang as a busker at the world famous Eumundi Markets, for both adults and children, as well as in restaurants and a variety concert in the Sunshine Coast area, once again healing his audience.

At the age of 32 he discovered that you can regrow the body using Boosted Breathing. For example, you can regrow skin where dermis (the second layer of skin) is missing, thus filling in a wrinkle so that it disappears.

At the age of 34 he discovered the Breath of Happiness for the relief of pain, ache, discomfort, cramps, spasm, stress and tension, sag, tiredness and fatigue, and boosting energy through breathing.

 

At the age of 36 he discovered Buzzing - the best form of exercise for recovery from all sorts of health concerns. One of his students used it to overcome Chronic Fatigue syndrome, another a stroke with paralysis down the whole, left side. 

From 33-62 he toured Australia and New Zealand teaching natural health and healing, including singing, at universities, colleges, schools, clinics and through the media (radio, TV, magazines, newspapers). In 2021 he sang Christmas Light on the Sunrise TV program, on Channel 7, which played it again on Christmas night. 

At the age of 68 he discovered Laser Laughing, an advanced form of laughing at nothing for the purpose of regrowing, reshaping, realigning and rejuvenating the targeted body part. For example, you can Laugh Down on the sound of Haw to firm and tone your face, Faw to lift your left cheek and Shaw to lift your right cheek.

Imagine giving yourself a 10-15 minute face lift before going off to work in the morning. Or smoothing your skin using Ho as in "hot", Fo or Sho so that your beauty shines from within.
